Hinged Lid: A flip-top lid with a built-in metal hinge (often called a “lip” or “barrel” hinge) for one-hand opening and reliable closure.
Slip Lid: A snug friction-fit lid (slide-on top) that covers the body completely; it seals tightly without hinges.
Window Lid: A slip or hinged lid with an acrylic or PET window panel, letting end users view the contents inside.

Common print methods include full-color CMYK offset printing, Pantone (spot) color printing, silk-screen (serigraphy) and UV digital printing. The entire exterior (and even interior surfaces) can be printed in gloss or matte colors. Surface coatings such as matte or gloss varnish, spot UV, or embossing highlights can be added to protect the artwork. Specialty finishes like metallic or pearl varnish, crackle texture, wrinkle or leather effects are also available for premium appearance. In addition, Shining Packaging can apply embossed or debossed logos and patterns (raised or 3D embossing, flat emboss, etc.) on the lid and body to create a tactile, high-end look.
The inside of each tin pencil case can be finished in a way that protects contents and meets safety requirements. By default, the interior is often left as a natural tin-plated finish (silver or gold tone), which is rust-resistant and non-toxic. For sensitive contents (food items, cosmetics, etc.) or added corrosion protection, a food-grade or rust-resistant lacquer (polymer coating) can be applied to the interior. This FDA/Eu-approved coating helps prevent contamination and keeps the metal clean.
